Every asset in a Dozz workspace gets a QR code, and every day someone scans one on their phone to check equipment in or out. That interaction — and everything around it — is what this role owns.
What you'll do
- Build and refine the tenant-facing product: mobile-first QR scan-to-checkout flows, role-based dashboards for staff/managers/tenant admins, the QR label print centre, asset photo galleries
- Work directly in Blade templates and Alpine.js — no heavy SPA layer, no build-step-per-component ceremony, changes ship close to the metal
- Design interfaces that stay honest during real product changes — when a billing state changes what a user can do, the UI has to say so clearly, not just block the action silently
- Make sure everything works as well on a warehouse floor on a phone as it does on a desktop in an office
- Work closely with whoever is designing the feature (sometimes that's you) rather than implementing off a spec handed over a wall
What we're looking for
- Strong HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals — you understand what's actually happening under a framework, not just how to use one
- Experience with a lightweight reactive frontend (Alpine.js, Stimulus, htmx, or similar)
- A real eye for interfaces that need to work well on a phone AND a desktop, often for the same feature
- Comfortable working server-rendered (Blade) rather than building a separate API-driven frontend app
Nice to have
- Tailwind CSS experience
- Mobile web / PWA experience — camera access, offline-tolerant flows
- A design sensibility strong enough to make small calls without waiting on a designer
