Dozz tracks physical things — laptops, lab equipment, furniture, batches of 200 identical chairs — through QR codes, checkouts and approvals. Getting the design wrong here doesn't just look bad, it means someone loses track of real inventory. That's the design problem this role owns.
What you'll do
- Design across the full tenant product: role-based dashboards (staff, manager, tenant admin), forms, and the mobile-first scan-to-checkout flow
- Work on genuinely dense functional problems — the QR label print centre (three sizes, laid out to fit a real A4 sheet exactly, not just "looks fine on screen"), asset photo galleries, print-ready label sheets
- Design for the moments where clarity matters most — what a user can and can't do when a workspace is billing-locked, what happens when a batch of 200 units gets partially checked back in
- Work directly with engineers rather than through a formal handoff process — this is a small team, and your designs often get built by whoever's in the room, sometimes including you
- Occasionally contribute to the marketing site as well as the product itself
What we're looking for
- Strong UI craft with real experience designing dense, functional business software — not only marketing sites or consumer apps
- Comfortable owning both a desktop admin interface and a mobile staff flow for the same feature
- Can work directly with engineers and make good calls without a heavy process wrapped around every decision
Nice to have
- Figma plus a working understanding of Tailwind CSS, so your designs translate cleanly to what gets built
- Prior B2B or enterprise software design experience
