Why it costs this

A school carries the complexity of a mid-sized company on a fraction of its budget. Hundreds of laptops issued and recovered every year. Lab equipment that has to be accounted for. Consumables that run out mid-term. An entire student body that turns over annually.

Questions

Is anything missing compared with the paid commercial plans?
No. Every feature is included on every Dozz plan, and that includes this one. Plans differ only in how much capacity they cover.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
No, and that is deliberate. The education price is already set at the level we think an institution should pay, so there is nothing further to take off it. Pay monthly or yearly — the amount is identical, and you are never locked into a contract to keep the price.
What happens if we outgrow the standard capacity?
Use the calculator above to set what you need and the price adjusts immediately. Nothing is cut off without warning, and nothing is deleted.
Do students need accounts?
No. Only staff who sign in need an account. Equipment can be issued to and recovered from students without consuming a user licence.
How do we prove we are an educational institution?
Sign up with your institution's email domain. We verify it when your workspace is created — there is no form to fill in and no documents to send.
Can we try it first?
